Inspired by classic tennis shoes within the NikeCourt family, this crisp white edition of the Nike Drop Type Premium has low-profile uppers made from leather with a protective toe cap and an exposed foam tongue. Constructed using an autoclave technique that fuses the midsole to the outsole for a streamlined look, perforation has been added on either side of the foot with an embroidered white Swoosh tick on the right side for signature branding with a subtle look. Cotton laces secure the fit and are held in place by a leather border and underneath the padded tongue is made from nylon with an accentuated exposed foam top edge and a black printed outline of an illustrated Swoosh tick just below. At the back of the heel an additional smaller Swoosh tick has been printed onto a leather section above a wrap around rubber piece that continues around one side of the foot. Throughout the inside a fabric lining adds comfort and the sockliner has a printed graphic that has been designed especially for the model. A herringbone tread pattern sits underfoot and supplies quality grip suited for everyday wear.

Part of the Nike N354 family which includes Drop Type and Air Force 1 Type silhouettes, each design pays homage to legendary American runner Steve Prefontaine’s fastest mile which he achieved during the Hayward Field race in 1973 at a time of 3:54:6.
